Mobile Deposit

Depositing checks into your checking or savings account just got a lot easier because now you can use your mobile phone to deposit from anywhere just by taking a photo of your check. Mobile banking will save you trips to the bank, and gives you more access to your account.

It's easy. Here are the few simple steps that you will need.

* Sign on to NGNB mobile app

* Deposit Tab is at the top for Android and at the bottom for iPhone

* Select the account to which you want to make the deposit

* Enter check amount

* Endorse back of check and put FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY

* Take a photo of the front and back of the check

* Select Use photo or retake photo

* Confirm the deposit

* View deposit history and confirm status of your deposit

  • Keep your mobile device updated.
  • Password protect your mobile device
  • Only download apps from a trusted source
  • Install mobile security software on your device
  • Install software to find and remotely wipe your mobile phone
  • Don’t modify your phone’s operating system. This is also known as jail breaking.
  • Don’t disclose private information. NGNB employees will never call you, our customer, and ask for your personal information, which includes: passwords, social security numbers, and account numbers. We will also not ask for this information via text messages or e-mail.
