Open an account today and receive a free piggy bank! Save your coins — bring them by the bank and use our coin sorter! A "Good for You" Savings Account requires an opening deposit of $5.00 and will earn an Annual Percentage Rate of *1.05% and an Annual Percentage Yield of *1.054% (both rates subject to change). Interest is compounded and credited to the account quarterly.

· A bald eagle named Peter once lived at the first U.S. Mint and was befriended by its employees. When he died, the workers had Peter mounted, and he has been on display at the Philadelphia Mint for more than 150 years!
